How Easily Can I Get To Kalkan?

There are many ways to get to Kalkan. There is a bus terminal in the center of Kalkan. There are buses every few hour to major cities, for example Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara. There are also buses every few hours to Antalya bus station, and then a tram that takes you directly to the airport. Alternatively there are busses to Fethiye and then a 1h bus to Dalaman airport.

There are numerous companies in Kalkan that offer airport transfers from Antalya and Dalaman airport, rental cars from Dalaman and also rental cars from Kalkan.

Where is Kalkan’s Closest Airport?

The closest airport is Dalaman airport. It is 120km from Kalkan and approximately a 2h drive to Kalkan along new and smooth roads. The route is straight from Dalaman airport to Kalkan making it very easy to navigate in a rental car.

Should I Rent A Car In Kalkan?

If you are staying in the center of Kalkan everything is walking distance and many people decide not to rent a car, especially if it is your first visit to Kalkan. However we recommend visitors staying in the surrounding areas to rent a car as Kalkan is very hilly and you will have to drive to  supermarkets and local beaches. 

Visitors who have been to Kalkan before often prefer to rent a car so they can explore surrounding areas such as, Kaputas beach, Patara, Saklikent and Kas to name a few.

What Is Included In The Price Of A Villa?

WIFI, Electricity, water, pool and garden maintenance and also cleaning.

When Can I Enter My Villa?

You can settle into your villa after 16:00. If you are arriving later just let us know and we will come and meet you with a key at any time!

What Time Do I Have To Vacate My Villa?

We ask that guests vacate their villa by 10:00. However if the villa owner is not expecting another guest immediately after you, check out time can be more flexible.

Where Can I Leave My Bags?

Feel free to leave your suitcases and bags in our office, however we kindly request that you take any valuables and important documents with you.

Are Discounts Available?

This year more tourists are coming back to Turkey and Kalkan so many villas are becoming fully booked and prices have increased. We recommend booking early to receive the best discounts. 

Discounts are also available during the most popular time of year (June, July, August) but again we recommend you booking as early as possible.We always work directly with villa owners and will do everything possible to get you the best possible rates. 

When Should I Start Booking?

Usually most villas start to get bookings between December and May. However you will always receive the biggest discounts the earlier you start booking and more villas are available. You can always book last minute and receive some good deals, however most villas are fully booked by May and you only a have limited choice due to availability.

Villa Cleaning?

All villa and apartment pools are cleaned and the gardens are watered daily. This is usually done early in the morning or on an evening to avoid disturbing your holiday.

Your villa is cleaned before you arrive and after you leave. If you are staying for ten or more days, your villa will be cleaned every week.

What To Do If I Have A Problem During My Stay?

Hopefully your holiday will go as smoothly as possible! However we are available 24/7 to answer any complaints or provide any extra help. This includes helping you to find a doctor, translating or booking emergency flights!

How Will I Receive and Hand Back My Villa Key?

We will accompany you to your Villa to give you the villa key. We will also explain how certain aspects of the villa work. After your holiday we will come and collect the villa key from you.

Is It Possible To Extend The Period Of Our Stay In The Villa/ Apartment After We Have Checked In?

If the villa or apartment is available for your extended dates, it is possible. However if the villa or apartment is full, we will try and find a similar villa or apartment for you!
